The domain Gaudon "The Castle" is located in an area called Tuscany of Auvergne. This is an area between the cities of Clermont-Ferrand, Thiers, Ambert and Issoire, which is named after Catherine de Medici and the Queen Margot, of Tuscan origin, trapped in Auvergne, usson the seventeenth century. Its hilly area, green, quiet and wooded poplars are indeed thinking about the Italian Tuscany. Placed somewhere between the Forez and the Puy de Dome, it offers not only the choice of the relief but also many activities. To discover the variety of its landscapes and typical villages, ballads "discovery of the environment" are offered on foot, by bike, motorcycle, horse or donkey, plus aviation activities. Auvergne is famous for its lakes and volcanoes around which water bodies are located, historic castles road one of which is illustrated in the filming of "Les Choristes", museums, gardens, its artisan workshops and road cheeses will delight you.
